This is a vintage, early 1970's KUSTOM K250-4 AMP HEAD with 4-12 G SPEAKER cabinet in original BLACK TUCK AND ROLL Naugahyde. This TOP-OF-THE-LINE AMPLIFIER was made in Chanute KS, USA. Features include 4 special design speakers, selectone, bass, middle, treble, bright, tremolo, vibrato, reverb, selective boost, fuzz and wahwah. It comes with the cover for the speaker cabinet and an aftermarket boost pedal (expression, WahWah). It uses two (2) common two button footswitches to control the effects, (non-Kustom included). I consider this in exceptional condition for its age. It has its share of light bumps, scuffs, blemishes and dings in the padded covering, but nothing ugly or distracting.

Everything works as it should. Clean controls, no scratchy pots. All effects tested and function, with or without the footswitches.  SOUNDS AWESOME. I unapologetically will add that this amp has a light hiss and comes on with a THUMP (they all do) as if to wake up and say, 'PLAY LOUD NOW!'.

As a basic test I have operated this amp for at least 8 hours recently and it did not fail, smoke, throw sparks, blow fuses, start on fire, etc.   As a general disclaimer... Old electronics are scratched, worn, chipped, cracked, dirty, dusty, stained, ugly, tinkered with, missing parts, etc. The exteriors have wear that includes cuts, holes, tears, scuffs, missing stitching, missing or replaced feet, handles, knobs. In the course of servicing over the years, they typically do not have all original components.  Old electronics typically hum and have scratchy controls.   Often the pictures are the best describer, so LOOK AT THE PICTURES before you buy. Old electronics can fail at any time. I do not warranty any electronics past your initial inspection. This is heavy and I am willing to take the time to professionally pack and ship. This is part of my estate.

LOOK AT ALL MY LISTINGS!!! I will be selling much of my private collection of amps in the near future.
