Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 1998 - Joan - Grey Skirt Suit - Size 40

This Alexander McQueen skirt suit was designed for his fall/winter 1998 show. It features the iconic red lining printed with his logo that peaks through the exaggerated pockets and back vent. The overlapping back vent creates beautiful movement while being worn giving you little slices of red. The sleeves are cut with diamonds inserted to created a sharp elbow and the cuffs feature a row of buttons on point. The back of the suit also features a diamond piece inset into the body of the fabric. Every part of this suit looks like it could cut you. The pencil skirt is calf length and also features a high vent in the back that allows your legs to peak through and still allows for a free range of movement. No one understood tailoring better than Alexander.

The suit is in very good condition with a couple of faint marks on the skirt. They are difficult to see and I was only able to photograph them from very exaggerated angle.
