This t-shirt comes from a New Jersey initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Women's right to vote. Organizers sought to create a chain of people to wave flashlights shaped like torches on June 4, 1995. The idea was to celebrate and "pass the torch" on to the next generation of women. T-shirt is made of white material and has purple lettering. The front has an image of torches with the words "passing the torch: celebrating 75 years of women's right to vote" on the front. The date of the event is printed underneath. On the back, a series of event sponsors are listed: Campbell's Soup, Edmund Scientific Company, Orleans, Core States, Hill International, a law firm and Bell Atlantic. Great collectable for those who are concerned about women's rights, historians, politicos or anyone interested in wearing a conversation starter to a picnic or party.
