Product Description

The Turbo XS WS08-DPC is a two-piece bellmouth catted downpipe for the 2008–2014 Subaru WRX and 2008–2021 WRX STI, sharing the EJ-series turbo platform also found in the Legacy GT and Forester XT. The cast 304 stainless steel bellmouth upper section is the key design feature -- it bolts directly to the turbocharger outlet and expands exhaust flow before transitioning into the 3.5" main tube, which tapers smoothly to 3.0" where it mates to the cat-back. This geometry maximizes the pressure differential across the turbine wheel for faster spool and greater sustained power compared to straight-pipe or flanged designs.

The two-piece construction simplifies shipping and installation, and makes the system modular -- the high-flow catalytic converter section can be removed and replaced with the separately sold WS08-RP-V2 catless race pipe without purchasing a new downpipe. A spare wideband O2 sensor bung is pre-welded into the pipe for tuners running a wideband AFR gauge. TIG welded and polished to a show-quality finish throughout.
