Here is one I just finished, It's pretty cool. I found the body and pickguard , I believe it's from the 80s, the body was very thick , so I ran it through my surface planer a few times and got it down to 1 5/8ths, very sleek ! I then covered it in a Walnut veneer , with candy root beer, and dark edges. the pick guard is Original. as with the pickups , something really cool is it has a phase switch for  the middle pick up ,you get great sounds in the 2nd and 4th position  !! the neck I don't remember where I found that , but it's one peace hard maple, very straight with good frets.
