The King MB5745XPGC main bearing set delivers race-bred reliability for FA20/4U-GSE engines used in Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, Scion FR-S, and FA20 WRX models. Featuring a tri-metal construction with a proven pMaxBlack overlay and advanced pMaxKote ceramic-nano coating, these bearings boost durability and resistance to wear and seizure--particularly under high-load or high-RPM conditions.
King’s innovative lug-free design improves oil film retention while U-groove and oil-slots ensure consistent lubrication across the split-main and thrust bearings. Designed to OEM tolerances, no crankshaft modifications are necessary. Rated to 17,000 psi load and hardened to ~115 HV, this set meets the demands of performance builds while retaining standard wall thickness and journal fit. Included in the kit are five main shells needed to replace the crankshaft bearings reliably.
