This Instant Collection features Indigo Girls first six Epic albums. Their first independent release is not included here. These releases span a 10-year period from 1989-1999 and include a double CD live record. Included are:

"Indigo Girls" - 1989 - A very solid first Epic release. Songs include "Closer To Fine", "Tried to Be True", "Prince of Darkness" and "Land of Canaan"

"Nomads Saints Indians" - 1990 - This follow up release features "Watershed", "Welcome Me" and "Hammer and Nail"

"Rites of Passage" -1992- This excellent breakthrough album features several now-classic Indigo Girls tunes. Among them are "Galileo", "Three Hits", "Joking", "Jonas and Ezekial" "Nashville" and "Let It Be Me'.

"Swamp Ophelia" - 1994 - Another great album, featuring "Least Complicated", "Reunion" and "Power of Two"

"1200 Curfews" - 1995 - A double Live set, featuring a broad selection of their music, including the title track of their very first album, plus several interesting covers. Joni Mitchell's "River" is beautiful, as is Danny Whitten's (Crazy Horse, of Neil Young fame) tune "I Don't Wanna Know". "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" from Buffy St. Marie is a powerful rocker. A studio version of this is also included.

"Shaming of the Sun" - 1997 - A fine album with "Shame on You", "Scooter Boys", and "Burn All the Letters".

"Come On Now Social" - 1999 - The last album in this collection includes "Go", "Peace Tonight", "Soon To Be Nothing", and "Cold Beer and Remote Control"
