The Borla 11989 is an S-Type axle-back exhaust system engineered specifically for the 2024–2025 Dodge Hornet R/T and R/T Plus with the 1.3L turbocharged PHEV drivetrain. The system eliminates the factory rear muffler, replacing it with Borla's patented straight-through and multi-core technology to increase exhaust velocity and unlock additional horsepower. The result is Borla's signature S-Type sound -- an aggressive, throaty note under hard acceleration that settles to a composed tone at highway speeds, backed by Borla's No-Drone guarantee.
Built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel with ultra-smooth mandrel bends and precision CNC manufacturing, the system bolts directly onto the factory hanger locations and exits cleanly through the OEM valance -- no cutting, welding, or modifications needed. Each tailpipe is finished with a 2.38" brushed stainless round tip featuring a laser-cut Borla logo. Fits PHEV R/T and R/T Plus trims only -- does not fit the Hornet GT (2.0L non-hybrid). Made in the USA and backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty.
