Developed to allow you to reach the very top levels of acoustic reproduction and bass, the K2 Power range symbolizes Focal’s expertise. Combining an evocative mix of pure sound control with detailed dynamics, speed and sophistication, the “Power Hi-Fi” concept, originally developed by Focal, has all the hallmarks of a reference line. Our signature yellow Aramid fiber inverted dome tweeter combines smoothness, precision, and clarity, optimizing imaging and producing an astonishingly loud, clear, and realistic soundstage. This key component makes the difference from the competition.

Another element essential to Focal’s reputation for creating the very highest sound quality are the cones and subwoofers in the K2 Power line. They combine very high power handling and extremely detailed sound thanks to the exceptional rigidity of the K2’s composite sandwich cone technology. SPEAKER DRIVERS CAPABLE OF EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE

All the select components and production processes are the result of extensive acoustic research to achieve the high standard of sound which is so characteristic of the K2 Power Evo line. Focal’s engineers have once again pushed back the limits of performance to maintain the reputation of this extraordinary line which rhymes with power and precision!

The ES 100KE is an ultra-compact solution with an impressive SPL of 90 dB (2.83 V/1 m) for such a small design.

It is composed of two 100 mm (4") speaker drivers with Kevlar® cones. The famous yellow cones of the K2 Power line are light, rigid and have excellent damping to provide dynamic sound with incredible definition. The centre of the cone is equipped with a phase plug for improved sound dispersion around the vehicle.

The high frequencies are faithfully reproduced by two 20 mm TKME tweeters. As specialists in loudspeaker membranes, Focal's acoustic engineers are constantly working on the creation of new cones, as well as on all associated components. Mounted on a highly resistant aluminum mounting, the TKME "M" profile tweeter extends the frequency response to 22 kHz, while further reducing distortion, for smooth, accurate high-frequency reproduction. Coupled with a push-pull motor based on IAL2 technology, it reaches very low resonance frequencies, for perfect harmonic balance.

The size of each component of this kit has been optimised to offer a very compact solution which can be adapted for all kinds of set-ups in all kinds of vehicles.
