Seldom seen in Mint State condition, this is the Type 1 or "Old Reverse" distinguishable by the oval-shaped "O" in the word "OF" and the muddy strike on the arrowheads, clutched by the eagle. PCGS has graded only 13 examples finer! Rich orange-gold toned surfaces have hints of lovely lavender color on the reverse. The striking detail is bold and the eye appeal is quite strong for the assigned grade. - Liberty Head $2.5
