Enjoy these two Vintage Majolica mugs/steins that were made in Japan.  This is Majolica, which is glazed earthenware that has been around since the 15th century.  It has bold colors and fantastic depictions of a wide range of subjects.  Collector's love this pottery and often look for weird Victorian scenes as shown in these 2 mugs. One mug has a slight chip at the top as shown in the photos; it doesn't, however, take away from the beauty or usefulness of the piece.  Please see photos for details.
