This is a listing to buy my Verizon "Grandfathered Unlimited Data" cell phone line.
This plan is no longer available, these phone plans were removed as an option in 2011. They cannot take it away or change it, hence the Grandfathered part. The plan is described as "Nationwide Talk & Text Unlimited 700". Which means, There is Unlimited 4G Mobile Data (without throttling), Unlimited Minutes, and 700 texts per month.
Don't be fooled, even though this is for a 4G phone line, I have personally gotten more than 190Mbit/second from speedtest.net. The 5G offerings won't get you any further in most cities.
The Legacy Verizon GUDP was a popular plan because it didn't have the contractual limitations that many of the unlimited plans of today have. The plan is no longer available directly from Verizon and can no longer be obtained.
"If you are one of the lucky people who currently have this plan, treat it with great care." -- RVmobileinternet .com
ABUSE OF PLAN: Although this plan has unlimited data, there is such a thing as abuse. I have personally seen SEVERAL HUNDREDS of gigabytes a month with no issue, and. BUT when you start getting into the 1TB to 2TB or MORE territory, it can be perceived as abuse by Verizon. ALL unlimited plans have abuse levels, if you plan on constant usage of more than 1TB/month. I have heard some plans get cut off (AT&T) from simply using beyond 400gb.)
To keep the line active the monthly bill to Verizon is $160 a month.
(I have two of these lines on my account, let me know if you're interested in both lines)
