This vintage Chinese Plique A Jour plate is a handmade piece that originates from China. It showcases the intricate and delicate Plique-à-jour technique, a style of enamel work that creates a stained glass effect by allowing light to pass through the translucent enamel. This 3" tall (4 3/4" to the tip of the lid finial) and 5.5" wide bowl is a collectible item that represents Chinese culture and craftsmanship, making it a unique and beautiful addition to any collection of Asian art or decor. It is in good vintage condition, free of chips. The only issue with it is that the lid does not close tightly.
