Round porcelain music box is 1-1/2" tall by 3-1/8" wide. The domed lit adds an addition 1/2" to the height.

Exterior exterior sides of the box are decorated with shooting stars on a blue background. The lid is decorated with the image of Shirley in her ruffled white and red polka dot dress, a red headband holding back her curls on a background of more shooting stars and a long swooping staircase. The edges of the lid and bottom of the music box are trimmed in thick gold.
