ăAbout Mino Wareă
Mino ware (ăżăŽăă) is mainly produced in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture. Due to the rich clay resources, it has been a ceramic production area since ancient times.
Currently, it accounts for 60% of ceramic tableware production in Japan. In 1988, "Mino ware" ceramics were designated as a national traditional craft.
The main features of Mino ware are its simple and delicate patterns, the use of various techniques and fine non-toxic glazes, and each ceramic piece has a unique shape, making it valuable for art collection.
