This is a charming set of six individual Russian nesting dolls.  They have a bright hand painted floral design on a burgundy background. The largest doll is blonde, with long eyelashes and a sweet, round face.  She stands 8" tall.  The finish is glossy, and there are gold metallic accents around the top of her head. 

The five dolls inside the largest measure 6", 4-1/4", 3", 2" and the smallest solid one is 1.25".  There is a $48 price sticker on the bottom and a "Made in Russia" label.  The 4-1/4" doll has a small hole on the front side near the bottom, and a dark spot on the bottom inside.  It was only during my "final inspection", that I noticed this hole.  I have no explanation, but it's not obvious, since I've overlooked it until now.  I've photographed the spot and the hole, so please take a look at the dark area near the bottom edge in the last four pictures.  

Other than the above mentioned issue, this pretty set of nesting dolls is in excellent condition!  All dolls fit together smoothly.  Each one is unique, and they display beautifully!
