Rare, beautiful Swiss Made vintage car dashboard clock. It has an early electrically powered jewelled Swiss movement. The fingers feature a striking lightening shape all covered by bevelled glass. Adjustment can be made to the time with the small knob on the front and there’s a speed adjustment on the rear.

It hasn’t been tested or connected to electricity because it would probably benefit from a professional clean & service first and I am unsure of the voltage. Please look at all of the pictures and zoom in to see condition. The face has some marks on it.

As you can see in the pictures, inside it has the number “27376” and “Swiss Made” as well as an attractive pattern on the metal. You’ll also see the red jewelled movement.

Measurements (approx.):

The diameter of the outer dial is 3 3/8 " and diameter of the back is 3 1/8”.

Depth 1 1/8”.

It would make a stunning addition to a vintage car, could be mounted, and may be of interest to clock collectors.

How did it come into our possession? My Father - a clock collector, bought it mounted into a Gipsy Major propeller (for sale separately). When he asked about the clock he was told it was from a Rolls Royce but we can’t confirm that it’s true.
