Rare 1884 Fish Engravings
You get all 20 (19 are shown in listing pictures)
Rare authentic original antique engravings printed published in The Fisheries and Fishery Industries of the United States, 1884 Section I, Natural History of Useful Aquatic Animals by George Brown Goode.
This publication has become increasingly very rare. Each plate has the common name (although common names have changed over time), species (species names have changes as well over time) and illustration notes (including illustrator, collection location, etc.)
Excellent condition (see listing photograph for details), Please note: My listing pictures are good; however, do not pick up the fine details and often cast some bright spots onto the engraving.
Approx. 11.5 x 18 inches.
These are original antiques NOT a reproduction.
Please look in my eBay Store for other great prints and deals on antique prints. There are some that would be a great match.
I sell only originals, not reproductions. These look great framed and sell for more in antique shops. These prints are highly collectible and look wonderful matted and framed, especially in a group. Great gift for a fisherman, outdoor person, lovers of the ocean, sea, marine life, marine mammals, in a den, cabin, office, or any home decor. These can be a terrific investment; if handled properly, they can be enjoyed for generations to come. Please consider buying a few at these prices as this will save money you on shipping cost and time.
