Great if you travel and want to make use of location based scanning* or to log close call hits / new channels with location data.
* please note location based scanning needs setting up manually here in the UK/EU.
Canada and USA is much easier. If you don't travel with your scanner this offers little benefit.
Two versions are available:
1: Car = GPS module with single cable to small junction box with USB power and scanner connection cables exiting
(Custom length of cables up to 100cm each)
GPS module comes with double sided sticky pad to attach to car dash etc
(Example use case: Attach GPS module to dash of vehicle, run single GPS cable behind dash plastics to glove box. Cable junction box is stored in glove box with cables exiting to radio and USB power socket)
2: Temporary = GPS module with USB power and scanner connections exiting from module (Custom length of cables up to 100cm each)
Comes with Magnet and heatshrink to temporarily attach to metal. Also included double sided sticky pad to glue permanently to surfaces.
(Example use case: Place on dash / surface temporarily to benefit from GPS functionality, Connect cables to Scanner and USB power socket in car. Not used full time, Can be stored away in glove box when not used)
