Estate sale find - 1950s Vintage hand painted, made in Japan, ELEPHANT TEAPOT with a Black Man Riding on a Magic Carpet Lid.  The tail is the handle and trunk the spout.  The carpet and tail have a lusterware glaze.  It measures approx. 9" from spout to tail x 8" tall, and is in very good vintage condition - no flaws.
