  One from a set of works commissioned and published by Wine Arts in 1989 featuring French vineyards and winemaking chateaux.  The other artists involved in the folio included Patrick Procktor RA and Norman Ackroyd RA.

Chateau Pichon Longueville Lalonde is a winery in the Pauillac appellation of the Bordeaux region of France.

Signed in pencil and denoted artist proof aside from the edition of 150.

Born in Birmingham, studied at Birmingham College of Art before moving to Manchester to study printmaking.  Known for his accomplished etching which brings exquisite detail and technique.  His work is in public and private collections including the Tate, V&A museum and the Arts Council of GB.
