Operation is pretty simple you turn on unit and pass object to be demagnetized over the table from left to right a couple of times and it will be demagnetized. if you have small items put in a plastic bag and pass the bag across the table top  from left to right.  Do not place items on the table it will just vibrate off I've had a few buyers message me and say the table just throws the part off this will happen if you set the parts directly on the table, the items do not need to make contact with the unit just passed over the table top will demagnetize it. (Warning please do not leave the unit turned on for long periods of time this transformer is very powerful and it will get hot and overload the circuit and shut down and you will need to let it cool down before it will work again just a safety feature so it does not damage the transformer) (Always shut off when done using) 
All units shipped are opened and tested and will only be shipped when  found to be new and operational.
