Bought from a Small Family Business in the Medina of Marrakesh
Our lovely handmade Traditional Moroccan Lampshades are handmade by one of our fair trade producers, based in the exotic medina of Marrakesh, on the edge of the great Sahara Desert.
Our lampshades bring the magic of Marrakesh to any room in your house. They have coloured glass panes on the side, which gives your room atmosphere by bathing your walls in coloured light and they have intricate cut outs on the bottom which allow lots of light through, so they are atmospheric as well as being practical and are perfect for areas where you need lots of light.
The one in the photo has a 60W equivalent LED light bulb, however it is possible to go up to a 100W equivalent should you need lots of light or down to a 40W if you wanted more subdued light or use it with a dimmer switch.
The total hanging height of the lampshade is approx 55 cm and the lampshade is 20 cm in diameter and is designed to hang from a hook in the ceiling.
Please note we only supply the lampshade, you will need to provide your own wiring, hook and pendent fitting. If you are unsure of how to install a light fitting please consult a qualified electrician.
