I have no control over this. No seller does. I cannot fix it. If I could, I would. If Newton Rings are a problem...and I don't blame you if they are...please ask about them prior to making an offer/purchasing, and I will do everything I can to let you know the severity of the issue. Thank you!
RETURNS: KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. We ARE NOT Amazon. We are not in a position to accept returns and pay for the shipping loss. We're a small seller, and simply cannot afford buyers changing their minds. So please CAREFULLY examine the item you're interested in, especially if RAW, and ask all questions BEFORE buying. We do our best to over-describe...at a considerable amount of time and effort...so that you know exactly what you're getting. Plus, many of the raw books we sell are LOW GRADE & FRAGILE and CANNOT HANDLE being transported back and forth multiple times without further degradation.
However...of course, if there is ANY issue with the condition of the item, if you don't agree with the grade, TALK TO US. We're happy to work with you. But just changing your mind is no longer possible for us. There has to be a material issue...item NOT AS DESCRIBED, a serious, grade-changing flaw was missed, or it was damaged in transit...to return the item.
Sorry about that, but this year, we've had too many people just change their minds after the item was sent...and some of them didn't even open the item! After freely accepting returns for 20+ years, we're no longer in a position to do so unless there is something wrong with the item.
