On March 28, 1979, a cooling malfunction caused a portion of the Nuclear Reactor
core at the THREE MILE ISLAND nuclear power plant to melt. A cloud of
radioactivity traveled as far as 230 miles away. This button was worn by protesters
calling for closure of the plant. and refers to anyone who safely lived upwind.
