Description:

This is the pink rouge as used by Geiko and Kabuki Actors. It is either dusted on with a #24 Naga-Itahake over the 'Kabuki Oshiroi' Shiro-Nuri white face paint or sometimes blended into a 2nd coat of the Shiro-nuri makeup. It is used on the upper part of the face to soften the harsh white. This is the exact item used by the Maiko and Geisha of Gion with their Shiro-Nuri makeup.

This product is made by the famous Mitsuyoshi, which has a long history of supplying makeup to the Maiko and Geiko of Gion and to Kabuki Actors from the Minamiza. Note that you need an undercoat of 'Kabuki Abura', 'Kabuki Oshiroi' white face paint and 'Kona Oshiroi' Face Powder to use this.
