Really nice piece from the estate of a lock collector. I believe this is at least partly hand-hammered? at it looks like strike marks from a hand tool on the hasp?

HEAVY! and with beautiful patina from the years, and a great logo inside impressed rectangle, on front with raised letters PANAMA
Maybe some remnants of old red tint around the letters from when it was new?
I believe it is brass but it feels like bronze in a way, incredible quality
About 2 1/2 inches tall
Will stand upright so great for display
NO cracks or breaks, but typical marks and rubs from wear over the years
The left side seems a bit dented? but that may be the way the maker hammered the metal seam which is on that side
