American Flyer 971 Moe & Joe Lumber Car, Southern Pacific. Gilbert catalogued this car in 1956 and 1957. The car frame is unpainted tuscan plastic. It has sintered-iron side frame trucks with knuckle couplers. This operating accessory holds eight pieces of lumber plus a block of simulated lumber. When actuated the two men will push the smaller pieces of wood off the car.
Included is the original button and the track trip.Compatible with S gauge trains including modern Lionel American Flyer, vintage A.C. Gilbert American Flyer, American Models, Mike's Train House, Scenery Unlimited, S-Helper Services, etc.
