You are looking at a great early MTH item from 1999. This is one of the more desirable MTH items. It is the ABA unit TEXAS SPECIAL PA diesels. With instructions and box.

This ABA set features QSI Protosounds with many neat features. It is considered Protosounds 1, so it cannot be controlled by the MTH DCS digital TIU set as that is for Protosounds 2 and higher.
As you know, MTH Premier items are compatible with just about any O guage, but they go especially nice with Lionel Standard O and Atlas O. It runs on any three rail track whether by Lionel, MTH, Atlas, Gargraves or Ross Custom Switches.
CONDITION: C-7+, some might call C-8. These have been run, but they look great. Tested and runs, smokes, sounds great. New battery. Cosmetically looks good but there ARE some signs from handling and use such as a few rubs and scratches from use. To be picky: one A unit has some rubs and light scratches (hard to see), a few paint nicks, some very light crazing on nose but again, hard to detect. B unit has a few rubs and minor paint nicks; other A has some rubs. Overall, they really looks nice.
The box is P-6 showing wear such as rubs, creases, soft corners, etc. With instructions.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
