Dear Buyers, up for auction is this rare 1950's German Ludwig II von Bayern (1845-1886) bottle opener.On the back it depicts Neischwanstein castle . The opener is deep silver plated and looks very nice. The opener is uncleaned with its beautiful dark patina which gave the opener very nice vintage looking.
Neuschwanstein Castle is a nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as a homage to Richard Wagner. Ludwig paid for the palace out of his personal fortune and by means of extensive borrowing, rather than Bavarian public funds. Measures: 70x45 mm, Weight 45.5 gr . Scarce and Very collectable!!!
