This is an interesting look back from John Mayall. Recorded in 1971, he brings back some of the amazing players from his past bands. The biggest attraction is, as usual, his guitarists. He features Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor and Harvey Mandel almost exclusively, in various combinations. "Accidental Suicide", a warning about the dangers of drug use with Jimi Hendrix as the subject, finds all 3 guitarists paying tribute. An excellent album from Mayall with an All-star cast.
