DETAILED DESCRIPTION: This is the true first edition, which was only intended to be sold in UK and EU countries. There was also an American edition of this book. Thomas Dallmeyer was a telephoto lens genius, and he produced many high quality designs over the years. The lens designs from Dallmeyer included the famous Adon, Dallon, and Perfac lenses. There is a lot of physics and mathematics in this book, which would allow for the construction of lenses according to Dallmeyer designs. This book is quite rare, and in particular this UK first edition.

CONDITION: Well used. Wear and chips to covers, yellowing to pages. Rub at edges, one page corner creased. Previous owner's signature on fly leaf. Considering this book is 125 years old, it has held up quite well.
