This listing is for 8mm, 10mm and 12mm thick carpet underlay, this underlay is part of the "Magic" range of underlay made in the UK by Carpenter in Hadfield Glossop UK, Carpenter and is the world's largest producer of foam.
The underlay comes in clear bags without any writing on the underlay.
Sometimes the 8mm underlay is orange with orange backing , sometimes it's white with a light grey backing, you may receive either colour
This underlay is also available in 8mm, 10mm and 12mm thickness.

5sqm you will receive a piece of underlay 1.37m x 3.65m, please note this piece will be folded in a box for delivery.
10sqm you may receive 2 x 5sqm pieces in boxes or 1 x 10sqm piece folded in a box or 1 rolled 10sqm piece piece of underlay 1.37m x 7.3m rolled
15sqm you will receive a piece of underlay 1.37m x 11m rolled
folding the underlay doesn't affect its in anyway

Our "Magic" underlay is manufactured in the UK from recycled foam and is a great quality underlay, and it gives a plush and soft feel underfoot.
Even though it's cheap in price, it is far from cheap in quality, which means you don't need to compromise quality over price.
This 8mm underlay with an 85kg/m³ density can be used throughout the home, adding a plush and extra soft touch to any carpets.

Full 15sqm Roll weight - 11kg to 17kg a roll, the rolls are heavy and bulky.
Please note sizes are approximate and may differ slightly due to the nature of fian underlay as it can stretch and contract.
These rolls are machine rolled and are very tightly packaged, and will expand once unrolled.
Our underlay is manufactured in the UK to UK standards from recycled foam, sizes are approximate and maybe be ever so slightly different, you may fund harder bits within the underlay, this is normal due to recycled materials.
Measuring thickness is difficult, we have a photo showing the thickness with a ruler, however it is difficult to measure from the edge as due to the cutting process it can compress the edges slightly, but please be assured our 8mm underlay is 8mm thick.
Usage
The underlay can unrolled, on wooden floorboards, the underlay should be laid in the opposite direction to the floorboards and each run of underlay should be laid in the opposite direction butt upto the last row, this helps to prevent consistency issues in the underlay. The underlay should then be stapled to the floor if on a concrete floor, spray adhesive should be used.
For best results, use tape to tape along the joints, but it isn't totally necessary to do this.
Tools you may need:
• Utility Knife (with spare blades)
• Tape Measure
• Staple Hammer or Staple Gun
• Underlay tape (for taping seams in the underlay)

We deliver to ALL mainland UK, Including Highlands Scotland, the Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man for one delivery fee, there are no supplement charges for these areas. Please note we cannot deliver to Channel Islands unfortunately.
Our underlay is shipped by 48 hour Parcelforce, and tracking numbers are provided after purchase. You can track your package online at parcelforce.com. This is a better tracking option than the tracking Ebay will provide.
On the day of delivery, you can track your package live on the parcelforce website.
PLEASE NOTE PARCELFORCE WILL NOT LEAVE PACKAGES WITHOUT SOMEONE BEING THERE, THEY WILL NOT LEAVE IN A SHED, GREENHOUSE, GARDEN ETC, THEY HAVE TO BE GIVEN TO YOU, IF YOU WILL NOT BE THERE TO TAKE IN THE PACKAGE ON DELIVERY DAY PLEASE DO NOT ORDER.

All underlay is packaged the day after purchase for collection by Parcelforce, the underlay should arrive with you in 48hrs after collection, however due to size and the bulky nature of the underlay it can cause a delay at some sorting offices, due to van sizes, delivery can also take longer for the Scottish Highlands, Devon, Cornwall, NI, once collected by Parcelforce, delivery is out of our hands.
Any issues with delivery, please contact us straight away, but you can also check using the tracking number provided.
Please note that Parcelforce does not deliver on a Saturday or Sunday.
