  • The Difference between 1157 and 1156?
1157 Connector: All LED's shine bright red for running lights and brighter red for brake lights. When the turn signal is activated all LED's flash between bright red and brighter red, keeping you visible at all times.
1156 Connector: When the Turn Signal is activated all LED's flash Bright Red for increased visibility.
 
  • 1157 or 1156 for My motorcycle?
1157 style signals work on bikes WITHOUT a brake light on the rear fender. Your stock rear turn signals should function as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. These have 2 contacts at the base of the bulb.
For bikes WITH a brake light on the rear fender you will need the 1156 style signals. These have one contact at the base of the bulb.
