 Multiflexboard:

This is a clever solution to easily convert your van/people carrier into a camper van/day van. With this specially designed for VW T5/T6 bed extension, you do not have to spend loads of money on conversions. With just a few simple steps, you can prepare a comfortable bed by adding this bed extension to the rear of you van. It is easy to assemble and fix to the locking rails of the van. When not required as a bed it can be used as dividing shelf for better utilisation of the boot space. Because of the board sturdiness, it can carry heavy loads. Max pay load is 100 kg. The board is divided on two sections increasing functionality and practicality.  The product features a mechanism which enables the Multiflexboard to reduce its size by approximately one third, thus saving valuable space especially in SWB vehicles. Also, it is equipped with a gas strut which allows the rear section of the board to remain upright once lifted. 

The plywood board is available in two colours: Black and Light Gray. Please specify which colour you are fancy by sending a message at the time of making an order. Thank you.

The height of the board precisely corresponds to the height of the third seat (bench) when reclined, so that they can make an even surface. You do not need any tools to fix the consoles to the rails. They can be easily mounted to the rails with the anchor bolts and clamping knobs provided. The T-shaped anchors have a groove at the top. When the groove is parallel to the rail, it is in unlocked position. When perpendicular to the rail is locked.

Comfort Mattress Topper:

Foldable Mattress Topper. Dimensions: L183 cm x W148 cm x H 6 cm. The mattress is made of high grade and top quality car upholstery material in anthracite gray colour. It is filled in with 6 cm quality foam for the ultimate comfort experience. The foam is 6 cm thick with high density: 42 g /dm, and compressible strength of 5,5. Sewn in three sections, so folds quickly for easy storage when not in use.  The material used is hypoallergenic. The foam cores are removable. Comes in a neat carrier bag. Handy mattress protector comes as standard.

These mattresses have been made to measure to fit on top of the original VW Caravelle; California Beach; Multivan seats and Multiflexboard, adding a grate deal of comfort and help protect against lumps and bumps. Can be successfully used in various campervan conversions as well. 

The material may vary slightly but the dominant colour will always be Grey and will always be car upholstery grade!

This Multiflexboard fits into all SWB and LWB VW T5 / T6 Caravelle/Multivan models from 2003 up to date with long bottom locking rails on the floor, as well as VW Transporter conversions.

Tools required - Phillips screwdriver and spanner N10.

 

1.     Positioning: The console with the gas strut should be on the right and the one without the gas strut should be on the left. 

 

2.    Mounting the metal beam: Place the metal beam on top of the consoles and fix it both sides with bolt 5/10 (8 pieces).  The long hinges with 3 holes each are for the rear (big) board. Please position them so that they are facing you. (see the direction in the photos).

 

3.     Mounting the metal rod to the scissors mechanism of the consoles:  Insert both ends of the rod into the square holes of the scissors, making sure that the handle for lowering the front (small) board is on the side of the console with the gas strut and in a pointing down position. This is important because the ends of the metal rod are also square, which determines the position of the handle. Secure with 2 nuts and washers and cover with plastic caps.  

 

4.     Mounting the small board: Firstly, fix the board to the front (small) hinges of the beam using screws (6 pcs). Then fix it to the planks of the rod using screws (6 pcs).

 

  5. Mounting the rear board: Firstly, fix the board to the hinges of the beam with screws (9 pcs). Secondly, fix the end of the gas strut with screws (4 pcs). Please note: The board must be upright. 

   Please note:

  The boards come with marked screw points. 

  Alignment of the gap between the boards and the metal beam is possible by slight adjustment of the fixation of the boards to the hinges.
