Vintage Alexander Doll Co. Princess Elizabeth McGuffey Ana 1937 all composition 20”. She is wearing a blue and white checked dress with an apron look, all attached. The dress has velcro closures and ties in the back. The dress is not tagged. Under her dress is white pantaloons. She is also wearing white socks and black, patent looking shoes. She has light brown original hair that is still in two pigtail braids with white ribbons. She has gold sleep eyes that open and close easily. She still has all of her original upper eyelashes and the painted lower lashes look great. She has an open mouth with 4 teeth. The painting on the face still looks very nice. The back of her head is marked “PRINCESS ELIZABETH // ALEXANDER DOLL CO.” Her left arm is marked “20 // 3” and her right arm is marked “20 // 9”.  All of her clothing is in excellent condition. Her body is also in great condition, some finish coming off at the joints and one crack on the inside of her right leg. Her head has slight/light crazing. Her joints are loose. She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
