As in previous years, the perspective of the obverse of Germania 2024 expands with each coin in the collection – 1, 2, 10 ounce and 1 kg. Similar to last year, the obverse is the image of our heroine.  By now she has managed to become accustomed to the lush vegetation, among which boulders with magical runes swarm. Her every move is followed by two ravens, which are the eyes and ears of Odin, the god of war, wisdom and poetry.

The reverse of the 2024 coin is traditionally an image of the Germania Mint coat of arms with a two-headed eagle holding lightning bolts and surrounded by olive branches. The eagle originates from Germanic mythology and is associated with Janus – the god of all beginnings, protector of gates and bridges, patron of alliances. The eagle’s heads turned in opposite directions symbolize the past and the future.
