Tintura Merthiolate Tincture is a topical solution designed for skin use. It helps maintain healthy skin and supports skin hygiene. This tincture is known for its traditional use in first aid for minor cuts and scrapes.

Active Ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride 0.13% antiseptic.

Inactive Ingredients: acetone, alcohol, D and C red no. 22, purified water.

Adults and children 2 years of age and older clean the affected area. Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily. May be covered with a sterile bandage. If bandaged, let dry first. For children under 2 years of age ask a doctor.

For external use only. Flammable. Keep away from sparks, heat and fire. Consult a doctor before use if have deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. When using this product do not use in or near the eyes. Do not apply over large areas of the body. Do do not apply over raw surfaces or blistered areas. Do not use longer than a week unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and consult a doctor if the condition persists or gets worse. Do not use this product longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center immediately.
