N.C.O. Professional Development Ribbon:       

The Army NCO Professional Development ribbon (NPDR, NCOPD) is a service ribbon issued by the U.S. Army for completion of any Non-Commissioned Officer Development Course. There are currently 6 approved levels. 

The approved course levels are:

- Warrior Leader Course (WLC) / Formerly titled PLC / PLDC [No Device]

- Advanced Leaders Course / Formerly titled Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course - BNCOC [Device #2]

- Senior Leaders Course / Formerly titled Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course / ANCOC [Device #3]

- Master Leader's Course / Formerly titled 1SG Course [Device #4]

- Sergeants Major Course [Device #5]

- Executive Leaders Course [Device #6]

When an additional course is completed, a bronze numeral is worn on the service ribbon to denote the number of courses completed. This is a ribbon only award and there is no federally approved corresponding medal for this award.
