Offering an especially colorful (deep purple, rich orange, vibrant yellow) and complex Le Verre Francais lighting bowl by the French Art Deco master designer and manufacturer Charles Schneider. This bowl, which measures about 17 inches in diameter, has a deeply acid-etched design in the "Mirettes" pattern. The hardware is all original and in excellent condition. There is some minor scuffing along a couple inches of the edge of the glass bowl, only noticeable upon close inspection (shown close-up in one photo). One American antique socket hangs by twisted cloth-covered wire in the center of the bowl, a replacement for the original French bayonet socket. You can employ any size (standard-based) light bulb. The light coming through the glass is muted but rich; depending on the wattage of the bulb you choose you'll get plenty of light bouncing off the ceiling. Dim it down at night for a spectacular "light show!"
