NOTE, If
you have an aftermarket, or some other replacement starter the parts in this
kit may not fit. Regardless of the application. This kit fits the Delco starter
# 1108642 and 1108657. See note below about the front bushing.
NOTE, The original front bushing for these starters was discontinued. The front / drive housing on many starters was updated to use a later bushing. This kit includes the later bushing. If your starter still uses the original front bushing and the bushing is unusable, you will need to find a updated front housing or possibly make a new bushing.
This
kit Includes: A new drive, Solenoid, shift lever, 2 bushings, 1 for each
end, new center support, 2 brush springs, 4 Brushes, 2 positive brush
holders, 4 brushes, 4 brush holder screws, 1 steel thrust washer, 3 pc. Pinion
stop set.
