This doll was inspired by one of my favorite childrens' books: Told Under the Magic Umbrella. The story is Elsie Piddock Skips in her Sleep. She is handmade, one-of-a-kind. She's seven inches tall and pretty pose-able. Her head, neck, limbs, and base are sculpted from a Super Sculpey polymer clay shade that they no longer make. Too bad it was perfect for dolls. She has a wooden spine and is stuffed with cotton. Her body and nightgown are hand sewn with soft cotton, and she has a lace collar. Her face is handpainted with acrylics. Her wig is made with dubbing wool. Don't try to brush it.
