Notes of this issue carry the date 1 January 1952. This is the date by which Libya had to become independent under the

resolution passed by the United Nations. These notes were prepared before the law authorizing their issue had been passed,

which is why they carry this date and no signatures. The notes were issued from 24 March 1952.
