Effective August 29,2025 the United States government has imposed import tarrifs against goods from nearly all countries globally, regardless of their value, effectively ending the US$800 duty free exemption formerly known as the "De Minimis" Value.
Tarrifs/Duty is a fee paid by the importer at time of delivery, plus courier brokerage fees when shipped by courier such as: UPS,DHL,FedEx,etc.
Canada Post has partnered with ZONOS to facilitate duty/tarrif collection and prepayment by the shipper on the importer's (Buyer's) behalf when delivered by the United Sates Postal Service via Canada Post.
As a result, I have added the tarrif amount as a shipping charge.I will use this to pre pay your import fees so the item will clear customs pre paid and deliver without additional charges. If the item you're buying from me states "free shipping to the United States" and you see a charge, this is the duty amount I will prepay on your behalf directly to US Customs.

I believe this remote is for the Clearsky model APU by Carrier Transicold/IMPCO.
I'm not sure which APU model(s) this is compatible with. The best I can do is provide the part number on the original bag. The original bag has been thrown out due to the battery acid leak.
This is a new part that's been in storage for a while and originally included 2 AAA batteries. The batteries leaked during storage and discolored the remote slightly on the bottom.
This "damage" is shown in the second picture. Minimal but mentioned to be fair.
Its very unlikely any internal damage has resulted from the acid.
Item will deliver without batteries for shipping purposes.
