Briwax Hard Wax Oil is made from vegetable oils and resins.  BHWO builds a finish in just a couple of coats depending on the wood.  BHWO gives a clear satin finish that is hard wearing, water & stain resistant.  Take a look at The Briwax Guy's YouTube video (link below). 

Make a sample first if you want to stain your unfinished wood before applying Briwax Hard Wax Oil.  Dye base stains are usually better than pigment base stains.  HWO might “pull/move around Pigment stains.  All stains differ.
