About the “New with Defects” distinction...

I’m a GGDB collector, and listed these guys back when LOVER was out. They sold, got sent off to eBay authentication, hung around the warehouse for what felt like a little too long, and…got sent back.  

The LACES (which were pictured in the listing, obviously) got flagged because they have some “marks?” Stains? Spots? Take your pick.  

I got on the phone with a customer service guy in the auth department and explained that 1. The marks were pictured, and 2. Golden Goose often stains and scuffs up their laces, and I’m not sure that these are *actually* a defect.

(Weird spots on laces...yes, it’s part of their aesthetic. Check out the laces on the Pink Glitter slides and Blue Leopard Mids I have listed.) 

He understood and agreed with me, but said now that they got bounced by eBay, to avoid getting them sent back a second time, to just list them as “New with Defects” — even though I don’t agree with the distinction. 

Hence all this. 

I still think it’s a blight on these guys, they’re perfect, brand new, and now rare as GGDB doesn’t make this style anymore. See pics #18 + #19 for "defects."

Please know your size in this style and brand. I’m always happy to help with any size questions, it’s always best if you try on any style you’re unfamiliar with in person.

These definitely fit a size 7, and I would think a size 7.5 would be fine as well, but I can’t vouch personally (as I’m a size 7). 

Like all other GGDB styles, the Starlands came in whole sizes only, and, in my opinion, always ran a little on the larger size, in the sense that there was more room in the toe box compared to Superstars.
