This vintage insulator is made by Hemingray Glass Company of Muncie, Indiana that operated between 1848-1972. This insulator was typically used for a telephone pole. It displays the mold date of 10/1956 and TS on the reverse side which stands for transposition steel. The "T" signifies that is was a transposition insulator and the "S" signifies it was to be used with a steel pin.
