*NOTE TO EBAY - THESE BOXES ARE EMPTY AND DO NOT CONTAIN ANY RESTRICTED AMMUNITION COMPONENTS*
Up for your consideration is a two-piece set of empty replica early Vietnam War era 7.62 MM NATO BALL M80 cartons with an OLIN / WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. label.
Development of a lower cost replacement for the 7.62MM M59 Ball cartridge began in early 1953 at Frankford Arsenal, with continuous improvements to the design through the end of 1958. The new cartridge finally received the designation "7.62mm Ball M80" in January 1959, with production beginning at Frankford Arsenal several months later, and Lake City Arsenal following closely behind. Contract manufacturing of the M80 cartridge began in late 1959 with Federal Cartridge Co., Remington Arms Co., Western Cartridge Co., and Winchester Repeating Arms Co., then Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant was added in 1967. Production of the M80 cartridge finally ended in late 1972.
Each single purchase is for two unassembled cartons with a Winchester Repeating Arms Co. 7.62mm NATO M80 Ball label. The lot numbers are hand stamped on the labels prior to shipping, matching an original box. The cartons will be shipped flat, with assembly instructions. I had a lot of these made, so if you want multiple sets, just change the auction quantity before you click on the "Buy It Now" button.
Check my feedback and buy with confidence. I prefer paypal, and shipping to US addresses is free. I will ship internationally, but there will be extra shipping charges involved, and they will be added by eBay during the checkout process. I can also combine shipping for multiple items on international orders.
