D-limonene is most strongly represented in the aroma of citrus fruits, and the essential oils of lemon, orange, and bergamot are composed of at least two-thirds of limonene. The aroma is piercing, fresh, clean, perfectly fits the perfume formula of the flower family.

The pure and invigorating aroma of D-limonene is demanded in perfumery as the initial note. This orange terpen is unstable, but plays an important role in the balance of notes and the pyramid of smells.

Thinner for polystyrene or HIPS.
It is non-toxic and naturally biodegradable. It does not dissolve in water, dissolves fats, an alternative to toxic analogues - acetone and alcohol. Used to dissolve supports printed with 3D HIPS. For ABS or PLA, D-limonene is absolutely inert.

The easy disinfecting property of limonene is in demand in the creation of cosmetics, skin cleansers, as well as in household products to maintain cleanliness in the house.
