The bolt head size on these bolts is 10mm across the flats - (10mm Spanner Size)

There is no need for a spring washer when using a nyloc nut - The flat washers helps spread the load on the two joining surfaces. It is recommended to use dissimilar types of stainless steel on Stainless to Stainless connections to help prevent galling of the threads - this application already does this for you .

It is also recommended to apply a little copper slip grease or any other non seizing compound prior to installation.

Hint - Please remember to knock off the heights of the nut and the two washers from the two materials that you are bolting together

Approximate height of the 3 combined is about 10mm - so if you are joining two pieces of 5mm material (10mm combined) then please purchase bolts 20mm in length - I find it best to have about two threads sticking out past the plastic nylon on the nut
